Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Les C. Meyer leads HealthNEXT’s market positioning and revenue strategy and oversees the development of innovative sales programs, community-based collaboratives and high-value business solutions to ensure optimal value optimization outcomes and best possible business results for its customers. His responsibility is to assist employers and communities in achieving an enduring “productive advantage” via a healthier community and to create strategic business alliances that connect employers, their employees and community providers.
In addition to being Vice President of Sales and Marketing of HealthNEXT, he is the President and founder of HPI Advisors and Chairman of its Informed Opinion Leadership Action Group (IOLAG) a corporate strategy and market development firm with clients in all sectors of the healthcare industry with a focus on breakthrough ideas from independent leaders who create meaningful distinctions in the healthcare market and suggest an insightful exchange of information for sound decision making. Les creates and directs work projects with a group of independent, forward-thinking opinion leaders in identifying critical corporate strategy options, high-value workforce health issues and developing disruptive improvement innovations based on value-based, health and performance improvement continuous value enhancement processes.
Les brings over 30 years of experience in population health promotion and high-value workforce wellbeing, advanced primary care medical home and accountable care organization systems of care development with a focus on building, branding and selling disruptive innovations in the employer market and hospital and life sciences market sector. Working with government, private sector and publicly held firms, Les has conceived, built and implemented programs spanning from hospital operations systems to centers of excellence development to focused population health promotion initiatives to specialty HPI corporate training programs for employers.
He serves on the board of the Professional Patient Advocate Institute and recipient of the Advocate Awards 2011 Winner “Wellness” and is a trusted adviser and author for the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA), a division of the American Hospital Association’s, “A Call to Action: Creating a Culture of Health” workgroup and the chairman of the Informed Opinion Leadership Action Group – Organization Health Market Sector. Previously, he served on the board of the Kaiser Permanente Health Advisory Council.
Les received his MBA from the University of Phoenix, in Scottsdale, AZ. He is currently a senior fellow at Jefferson School of Population Health, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He received his bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, MN and is a graduate of The Program in Hospital Administration, School of Business Administration, Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
